Your PDFs and passwords stay on your Mac.

PX7 PDF Protect reads, encrypts, decrypts and verifies PDF documents locally. PX7 Digital does not receive their contents, filenames, folder paths, metadata or passwords.

Passwords are held in memory only while the requested operation runs. The app does not save them in preferences, the Keychain, logs or analytics.

The app connects to PX7 Digital to check for updates and when you activate, refresh or deactivate a license. License requests include the key, app identifier, a one-way identifier for this Mac and the Mac’s display name so the seven-device limit can be managed.

Opening the website, purchase page or feedback form uses your browser. The app contains no analytics, advertising or telemetry.
